Beginning Inkle Loom Weaving with Robin Wilton

Inkle weaving is a fun way to learn about weaving without investing in expensive equipment.  An inkle loom is a portable belt loom that can be warped up in an afternoon and woven in three to four hours.  Inkle bands can be used to make belts, straps, bookmarks, ornaments and more.

Students in this two-day workshop will learn to warp the loom and read patterns so they can re-warp the loom on their own.  The students will be weaving by the end of the first day and can finish weaving their projects on their looms at home.  Finishing techniques will also be covered.

Skill Requirements:  All skill levels are welcome.

      When:   March 14  1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and
