Lessons from the Farm 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

A number of years ago I lost my job. I had no idea what I was going to do next. The goats and sheep on our farm presented me a way to carve out a more thoughtful life through their milk and fiber. Now I am a fulltime shepherdess and fiber artist, sharing small farming and heritage craft skills in hopes of inspiring others.

TEDI JANSEN BIO:

TeDi is a shepherdess, spinner, botanical dyer, and weaver. After a midlife career change she turned to her sheep for inspiration. They whispered to her about creative yarns, woven goods, and teaching fiber skills to others, so she did just that.

TeDi lives with her partner and animal menagerie just north of Fort Collins, Colorado. Her farm is both livelihood and classroom. She hosts workshops, fiber events, tours and small farm enthusiasts regularly.

In addition to fiber, TeDi is a photographer, macro photography being her favorite. In her down time she’s either spinning in the pasture with her Angora goats or laying in the dirt taking photos of tiny things. Find her on FaceBook and IG @timberandtwine.co

Presentation follows general Guild meeting

Stop by for a visit. We are always eager to meet other fiber enthusiasts.
