In this foundational botanical dye workshop you will learn how to prepare both fresh and purchased extracts for dyeing. We will gather dyestuffs from my dye garden and our land, and dye at least 3 botanical colors. This is a hands on workshop so come ready to forage, get messy and enjoy a day of adventure in color and fiber.
All skill levels are welcome!

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
TeDi is a shepherdess, spinner, botanical dyer, and weaver. After a midlife career change she turned to her sheep for inspiration. They whispered to her about creative yarns, woven goods, and teaching fiber skills to others, so she did just that.
TeDi lives with her partner and animal menagerie just north of Fort Collins, Colorado. Her farm is both livelihood and classroom. She hosts workshops, fiber events, tours and small farm enthusiasts regularly.
In addition to fiber, TeDi is a photographer, macro photography being her favorite. In her down time she’s either spinning in the pasture with her Angora goats or laying in the dirt taking photos of tiny things. Find her on FaceBook and IG @timberandtwine.co
