Woven Shibori on a Rigid Heddle Loom

Learn to weave woven shibori on a rigid heddle loom! Woven shibori (a technique developed by Catharine Ellis) creates unique designs with dye on handwoven fabric. We’ll warp up the loom and weave with the help of a couple pick-up sticks. Then, we’ll prep and dye our fabric. You’ll walk away with a sample that shows off your new skills and can be kept as a sample or turned into a project.

Workshop Details:

This workshop will take place over 2 sessions, one week apart giving attendees time to finish weaving their sample for the dyeing session.
