Folk Schools: The Power of Community & Collaboration Over Competition - Hannah Hostak
October 10, 2026 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
First Baptist Church - 1003 W. Sixth St., Loveland CO
In 2022, I spent my summer at the John C Campbell Folk School as a workstudy. The vision and values of the Folk School have resonated with me to this day, especially their values of non-competitive education, joy aka “singing behind the plow”, as well as the overarching vision of building a community “that awakens, enlivens, and enlightens the world.”
